Your Path to Healing
Individual Therapy
A Supportive Space
Individual therapy offers a confidential and compassionate environment for adults 18 + who seek to deepen their level of self-understanding, resolve emotional wounds, and enhance their relationship with both self and others. We will work collaboratively to unpack your experiences, develop effective coping strategies, and foster resilience by building on your inherent strengths. My approach is tailored to your unique needs, ensuring you feel heard, supported, and resourced to create meaningful change in your life.
EMDR: Science Based and Relational Care
Healing the Root of Trauma
EMDR therapy is a powerful, evidence-based method that helps the brain process and heal from traumatic memories. Unlike traditional talk therapy, it addresses the physiological roots of distress by relying on bilateral stimulation- often eye movements- to help the brain process and reintegrate distressing material, ultimately reducing its emotional charge.
As an EMDR psychotherapist with an emphasis on a relational approach, I integrate the power of EMDR with a strong focus on the therapeutic relationship as a central force for healing. In this space, trust and co-regulation emerge, making it possible to access, process, and ultimately transform painful experiences so they can stay in the past and you can live fully in the present.
Specialization
Focused Support for High-Pressure Careers
While I invite all adults to the therapy space, I enjoy working with individuals in professions such as law enforcement, military, aviation, intelligence, and emergency response. I understand the unique challenges faced by those whose roles require high-performance, composure, responsibility, and confidentiality. For many, seeking therapy can feel daunting- especially when others depend on their ability to function optimally.
In my practice, I respect the complexity and sensitivity of these careers, offering a discreet and understanding space for clients to explore personal and professional concerns. I recognize that asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness, and work with clients to overcome barriers to accessing support.
I simultaneously honor the duty of your role as it co-exists with your intrinsic humanness.
